Hi, my name is Tehanna and I am currently pregnant, homeless and trying to find a place to live with my cats and baby due January. I was staying in a Van with the kitties! Thanks to everyone who donated I got to stay at a Motel and the van instead of the streets. I am disabled and do not make enough state assistance to be able to afford much more than a room for rent in the bay. Fortunately, with the help of many and a lot of paperwork... I might be moving in with a family member. This would be our much-needed step into permanent housing. There are 3 steps to getting final approval and paperwork. So far, we have been approved through 2 of 3 levels.

I was previously securely living with family. Unfortunately, after shootings outside the house, an increase in crime to our block, plus a very large rent increase... everyone had to move. Sadly, I could not live with my family members in their new places. I was the only one that could not find housing, nor can I afford much housing alone.

I'm now asking for whatever anyone feels they would like to give for furniture, diapers, and to contribute to my baby shower I will unfortunately have to cancel if I don't find the funds.
