Hello Friends and Supporters,

Every year, our group, Team Vandenhaak, travels from Canada and the USA to Mexico with one mission: to build a safe and secure home for a family in need. We self-fund our travel, lodging, and food expenses, and we raise and/or donate the necessary funds for the materials to build these homes. The work is incredibly rewarding, and the impact on the families—especially the children—is profound.

This year, we have enough money to build a 4 bedroom house! However, rising supply costs have left us short on funds for some of the "extras" that truly make a house feel like a home. Items like beds, blankets, kitchen essentials, and a food basket that can provide a family with much-needed comfort are beyond our current budget.

Our goal is to raise $4,500 to help cover these additional expenses so that we can continue providing not just a roof over their heads but the warmth and care every family deserves. Any amount will help us reach this goal, or if you prefer, sharing this fundraiser to your social media would also be an amazing help.
