For years, our Nino Datunashvili has been one of the most outstanding and vibrant rock and punk talents in Tbilisi. Whether she was busking on the streets in the early days or tearing the house down in local venues like Worlds End Bar or Tipsy Rock Bar, her brilliant music and undeniable energy have made our lives so much better.

She has given this city and people from all around the world her voice and her heart. Now, it’s our turn to give something back.

The Situation: To cope with the drastically rising cost of living in Georgia, Nino had to take on grueling, rigid office jobs. The relentless hours sitting at a desk took a devastating physical toll on her body. Today, Nino is suffering from a severe cervical spine condition, a herniated disc (C5-C6) that is acutely compressing her nerves badly.

For quite some time now, she has been unable to work and is living with constant, acute pain. Her condition requires an intensive medical response, including an important surgery already happening the next days. Unfortunately, the state and medical insurance only cover a fraction of the necessary procedures.

On top of that, she requires extremely expensive medications, nerve treatments, and specialized supplements to rebuild her bone and cartilage strength.

Over the past few months, Nino’s savings have been completely depleted trying to stay afloat. This Monday, June 22nd, Nino undergoes her crucial surgery. While the procedure is the first major step, it is just the beginning of a long road to recovery. An avalanche of post-operative costs, from intensive rehabilitation to essential medication, is imminent. We have set this goal to ensure she doesn't have to worry about a single bill while she fights to regain her strength. We are not going to let her face this alone.

How You Can Help: The $3,900 (3.390 €) Goal

We are stepping up as her fans, and her friends to raise $3,900 USD (approximately 3.390 €). We believe in total transparency (report attached here at the end), reaching this goal will cover absolutely everything she needs to survive the next 4 months of strict physical recovery:

100% of all donations will go directly and entirely to Nino.

The Encore (Our Stretch Goal): If we manage to smash this target and raise more than $3,900, every extra dollar will go towards sending Nino on a proper, relaxing vacation once she is fully healed. After the agonizing pain and the stress of the last few months, she has more than earned a chance to truly breathe and recharge.
