Help Taylor's Family Through Medical Leave Hardship

First, I just want to say, I never thought I’d be in this position, ever.

My name is Taylor, and I’ve always been a hard worker, doing whatever I could to make sure my children didn’t have to worry about anything. My children are my whole world!

I have been on unpaid medical/maternity leave after having my son and being on leave became pretty hard being the main income provider. I had to stay in the hospital an extra week because of postpartum hypertension. He was born in December and it’s now May! I can’t go back to work until I’m medically cleared by HR. I’ve had to send in my documents twice and waiting to go back to work, has been so hard on us..

I can’t contact anyone because our phone service was shut off, our landlord is being as understanding as he can, but I fear when his patience reaches an end. Our electricity has been off for 2 days, we’ve been charging things in the car. I have applied for assistance but without a phone to speak with them and “technically” without work, there’s not much help I can get… and I’m at the end of my rope..

I am not one to ask for help, it’s hard for me to reach out and say “Hey, I need help..” but I need help.. Anything helps; even if all you can do is share - I’d be forever grateful.
