Help Taylor, Help Tanzania!

Hello Friends and Family!It seems so surreal to say this, but this Summer I am planning on volunteering with GIVE, a responsible travel organization to embark on a once in a lifetime trip to Tanzania! I have always felt I was being drawn to Africa since I was a little girl, not only because of its serene landscape and culture, but because it is a continent that requires a lot of outside assistance for basic needs like water, food, education, and women’s rights. I have always wanted to travel to Africa to come alongside and give a helping hand to the locals that have no resources and live challenging lives. I plan to pursue this type of work as a career after college, whether it be part of a non-profit or travel organization, creating my own non-profit, or helping from a legal standpoint. This trip is a dream come true for me. My goal in life has always been to help people all around the world, but especially in impoverished countries. On this journey, the GIVE volunteers, including myself, will BUILD critical education and water infrastructures, TEACH school children English, and ASSIST in women’s empowerment projects. One of GIVE’s main goals is to create “Sustainable Development Projects That Drive Long-Lasting Change.” What sets GIVE apart from other organizations, is that they commit to always put People, Projects, and Principles above profit. I will be seeking a job and raising as much as I can to fund this trip but... it would mean the absolute world to me if you’d consider partnering with me by checking out my fundraiser and possibly make a donation.
