Hi, I’m Tayla Street a 25 year old motorcycle racer from Flowerdale, Victoria, and a proud member of the Honda Red Riders Team Australia.
For the past 14 years, I’ve been fully committed to motorcycle racing competing across Road Racing, Dirt Track, Track, Long Track, Flat Track and Speedway at top level events across the country. What began as a childhood passion has grown into a life of dedication, countless hours of training, and a drive to be the best I can be on two wheels.
I’ve proudly raced with the No.1 plate nationally, representing Flowerdale and Victoria at events all over Australia. Now, I’m preparing for the next big step: representing Australia on the world stage.
A Family Legacy, A Personal Dream
Racing is more than just something I do, it’s part of who I am. Speedway runs deep in my family, with a legacy that includes my great-grandfather, great uncles, and cousins. I’m incredibly proud to follow in their footsteps and continue the “Street/Crump” tradition.
I’ve been training on a speedway bike here in Australia, getting ready for the intense, fast-paced challenge of international racing. I’m prepared to go toe to toe with the best in the world and I’m more focused than ever to make it count.
The Next Big Step: Racing in Croatia
In July 2025, I’ve been selected to represent Australia at two incredible international events:
FIM Women’s Speedway Academy (July 10–11)
FIM Women’s Speedway Gold Trophy (July 12)
These events will take place at Stadium Milenium in Croatia and bring together the top female speedway riders from across the globe. I’ll be wearing the green and gold with pride and giving it everything I’ve got.

My Comeback Story
In July 2024, I faced one of my toughest challenges, broke my back in a racing accident. It was a moment that could have stopped everything. But I didn’t let it.
With months of hard rehab and unshakeable determination, I made it back on the bike. I returned stronger, more focused, and more driven than ever. That injury didn’t end my racing journey it fueled it.

Getting to Croatia and competing on the world stage comes with a big cost. Between flights, accommodation, meals, bike hire or purchase, tools, gear, and licensing, the estimated total is around $35,000.
