Help Tate and the Rallos this Christmas
Donation protected
My name is Tyson Burke and I'm asking you to help Tate and the Rallo family this Christmas.
I met Tony some years ago, and although he's a bit younger than I am, I immediately knew he was a good man. Just how good of a man, I couldn't have known.
Tony is a man's man, he's a father that makes other fathers envious. He's a loving and supportive husband. He's a phenomenal athlete, a guy with all the talent in the world and the work ethic to back it up. He's a friend, the best of friends that cares about his friends well being. Knowing how much he cares about people makes those people better humans, I believe that to my core.
This brings me to Tate, the Rallos 4th boy. Tate came early to this world, and has experienced some difficulty in his short time. A long stay in the NICU, followed by multiple visits back has made the Rallos life pretty trying.
I spoke with Tony, and like most men sometimes we don't speak enough. A few weeks had gone by since our last conversation. In typical Tony fashion, he was more concerned about me and how I was doing. I could tell he was in the car, and asked where he was going. He told me he was on his way downtown because Tate was back in the hospital. He was going to relieve Tay his wife, after he had spent the day struggling to get someone to watch the kids so he could go get groceries and Christmas presents. My heart sank, and although I'm not a very emotional guy, it hit me right in the feels. This guy, he's an inspiration. The thought that through all that, he picked up the phone to check on me.
Tate will need open heart surgery at some point, it could be very soon. Tony would never ask anyone for anything, but I will ask on his behalf. Let's help the Rallos this Christmas. Let's help ease the burden a bit, and let them focus on Tate and the boys this holiday season. Between hospital trips, feeding and caring for the other three boys at home, or the fact that Tony and Tay, lifelong sweethearts cannot possibly have the time nor energy to do the things we all take for granted around this time of year... I am hoping you feel like I do and want to help the Rallos get through this trying time.
