The aim of this fundraiser is to help raise money for my dad and try to make the remainder of his time left the best it can possibly be before he passes away. My dad has always given me everything and shown me the best things in life, supported every adventure, dream and hobby I have ever had. Every child's dream is to be able to give back to their parents and show their gratitude for all their hard work and heartache they have given them.
My dad has been given 6 months to live with chemotherapy being his last hope at trying to kick cancer. His condition has been getting worse and worse over the last year, and the call was made to leave chemotherapy as his last option. He has liver and bladder cancer and it is spreading to other parts of his body.
I am here raising money so I can give back and show my dad some of the greater things in life. I want to try and take my dad out to share some last experiences and adventures to make our bond even greater before he passes. Money donated will help cover a lot of the expenses that will come with the chemotherapy treatment. Any excess would go towards taking my dad on a trip of a lifetime to Tasmania and travel around the beautiful coastline that Tasmania has to offer.
I have organized a “worlds greatest shave” event to help support and raise awareness for everyone in the world dealing with cancer, bring their situation to light and give people hope. I will be wearing a 'where's wally' beanie as a symbol for my fundraiser.
Every cent counts. I know these are very hard times with covid but if you can spare any money to help my dad through this process it would mean so much to my family and to my dad. I would be insanely grateful for any donations and it would mean so much to be able to help my dad experience some of the greatest things in life in the time he has left. Your love and support means so much to the both of us.
