Hello ladies,

 

In light of Tara's email, with her update and prayer requests regarding the situation with her son Noah, I reached out to Carole with an idea to tangibly help Tara as she's walking through this season of life.

 

Some of you ladies have been there on Monday nights and have heard her share what's happening with her son. Others of you have been part of the Monday night group in the past and aren't currently attending but know Tara. Without going into much detail I will share that Tara is having to reduce her work hours to part-time during this season and it will be putting a strain on her personal finances. I am creating this fundraiser as a way to give Tara some additional money to help with her needs.

 

In an effort to be fully transparent with you all: Tara has not asked for financial help and I am not letting her know ahead of time about this Go Fund Me page. I do not want to give her an opportunity to reject the help before it's been collected.

 

I want to be sensitive to everyone as I know that finances look different in each family. If receiving a link to a fundraiser brings a spirit of dread to your heart because you want to help but cannot, please ignore my email and simply pray fervently for Tara and her family whenever she comes to mind. If you want to help but your finances don't allow much wiggle room this month, then maybe skip getting a coffee out once this week and donate that $5. Every dollar adds up quickly!

 

I also want to be sensitive to the enemy's spirit of comparison. I am asking EVERYONE who does make a donation that you click "Anonymous" instead of making your name public. This way the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and we do not give room for the enemy to steal our joy in giving.

 

In an effort to protect Tara's privacy, please keep this Go Fund Me page private within the members of our Monday night book club only.
