Hiyah,
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
My name is Tara. I'm a trans woman and I really want to build a place to call home in this world.
I have a dream of one day having a safe place to house trans people while they learn about how they're able to fit into our world while they hone their understanding of who they are.
I don't have a lot of income because I'm working with the feds to get disability for my bipolar disorder. I am so close to closing that gap with a judge hearing coming in January unfortunately I've lost housing again. I'm not going to let it stop me though. I want to make the best of it.
I'm going to buy a bus to turn into my new, forever home where I can have sanctuary to flourish.
I want to build a sanctuary on wheels so that I can save money every month towards my eventual long-term goal of owning a slice of nature that I can turn into a community for people who need it. I want to build a food forest that can provide nutrition and fulfillment for the people that live in my community. I have big ideas for this world that keep getting stymied by the housing crisis. I see this step of building a mobile sanctuary as a means of bypassing that issue long enough to get on my feet in a way that will allow me to pursue meaningful long term progress towards a future I believe in.
I know it's going to take a tremendous amount of work.
That said
I think I can make it all work out especially with community assistance. I appreciate any help to the moon and back.
Even if you can't contribute financially I appreciate you reading this far and sharing with those in your community who night like to be part of mine.
