Help Tara and her 6 children

I am setting this Go Fund Me page up for my daughter as she will never ask for help. Tara lost the love of her life on Saturday, August 14th. Nick and Tara had been together for most of the last four years. In April they were blessed with a daughter, Olivia Grace. She became their sixth child, yes sixth. Nick and Tara had six children all under the age of 12. Nick had been injured in a work related accident and because of this injury and a degenerative disease in his hips, he had not been able to work for several months. Tara worked a 40 hour work week (from home) and attended college to become a nurse. She still carries a 4.0 average in school and was inducted into the academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa.

Obviously she could not do this with a lot of help from Nick. Even though he was in constant pain Nick took over the kids. Nick got the children up and ready for school and made sure they were there on time and prepared. Nick took care of the children when they came home from school, taking them to the park to run and play. His hips caused him so much pain that he couldn’t walk well but would use a walker and set up a chair and sit and throw balls to the kids. He then got them home, made sure homework was done, they were cleaned up and ready for school and he made dinner. With his passing Tara has lost her best friend and constant companion. The children have lost their Dad. Olivia Grace will only know her father through pictures, videos and stories her brothers and sisters can tell her.

When someone passes you usually only hear good things about them as it is bad to speak ill of the dead. Nick had a very tough childhood and a hard early life and made some mistakes. I am a better person for the four years I had the privilege to know Nick. Nick was a very positive influence in the lives of everyone he met. He was very direct and never hesitated to help anyone, literally giving money to people on the street when he didn’t have money for lunch. Nick was honest and loving and our family will miss him forever. I am so glad he had a strong relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and know we will see him one day in heaven.

Tara is a strong and independent woman and will not ask for help. She has been thrust into a very hard place in life with 6 young children to raise alone, alone. Nick was a rare find in this world and can not be replaced. I am starting this Go Fund me page to try to help Tara get some help financially. Thank you
