Help Tanzanian women lead independent lives

Hi – we are Ayoub, Sarah and Gloria and we are collecting donations for the NGO „Kukua Pamoja Tanzania“. Ayoub is the Executive Director of Kukua Pamoja, Sarah has served as an international volunteer with the organisation in 2022 and Gloria is currently volunteering with Kukua Pamoja. We are aiming to raise ca. 4.620€ to cover the costs to expand our women economic empowerment program and to make it more successful and sustainable.

About Kukua Pamoja Tanzania

Kukua Pamoja Tanzania is a registered non-governmental organization headquartered in Arusha, Tanzania. At the core of our organization’s goals is the belief that women should have the opportunity to be economically independent, leading to a life of self-reliance. To achieve this, we have implemented a robust women economic empowerment program, providing marginalized women with crucial business education and entrepreneurial skills.

Our Goals and Funding Needs

We are currently seeking to raise approximately 4.620€ to further expand and enhance our women economic empowerment program in this year 2024. By reaching this funding goal, we will be able to purchase essential equipment such as sewing machines, a peanut butter machine, tables, plastic chairs, and other materials necessary for the program’s successful implementation. Additionally, these funds will cover the costs of paying rent of our suitable facility, conducting seminars and trainings, and meeting various operational expenses.

Through our program, these marginalized women will gain valuable business knowledge and access to vital tools, empowering them to earn a steady income. Our achievements so far

Thanks to the support of our donors in 2023, we were able to secure a larger facility to run our program. This new space has provided a comfortable and welcoming environment for the women we serve. We are proud to share that our efforts have already positively impacted the lives of more than 12 women in Arusha Tanzania. Through our training, they have acquired valuable business skills and have successfully produced marketable products, including liquid soap, peanut butter, table mats, and beaded jewelry. To promote awareness of our organization, we have ventured into partnerships with local hostels and community markets, creating opportunities to sell these handmade products.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who have already contributed to our cause. Your generosity has allowed us to achieve significant progress in empowering marginalized women through our women economic empowerment program. However, we still need your support to cover ongoing expenses, such as rent, materials, machinery, and other operational costs.
