Hello, my name is Jesse Wilcox. I am reaching out today for my mom, Tana Wilcox. She is a wonderful lady that is full life and love. She is a very loving mother and grandmother. Her days spent making sure her grand daughter and two grandsons and always taken care of and happy. About Six months ago she was is a car accident, she was hit by a driver coming off the highway and was brought to the hospital with minor injuries. This is where the real news hit her, the driver had no insurance . As the bills started to pill up and the doctor visits became more frequent she started having more medical issues. After countless doctor visits and test she has been diagnosed with a very rare disease called Eosinoplilic Fasciitis. This is a very rare condition affecting the facciis layer beneath the skin, her skin all of her body has become very hard. She is experiencing extreme pain and can hardly move her legs. She has described it as having glass under her skin. Along with the pain and no mobility, the amount of medication is now also taking its tole on her body. Currently there are less than 400 people world wide with this condition. There is very little research being done because of this. Because of the rarity and lack of funding most of the medications and treatments are not insurance covered and her bills are piling up very fast. She has always went above and beyond to help others, now she needs our help please
