Hi, my name is Kimia, and I’m based in London, UK. I’m fundraising for a family I personally know and have been supporting for some time — a family in Gaza who are struggling to access urgent medical care for their children.

This fundraiser is to support two young brothers whose health needs have become increasingly difficult to manage due to a lack of access to specialist care and essential medication.

Their father is doing everything he can to protect and care for his children, but despite his efforts, he cannot meet their medical needs alone.

Why I’m raising funds

The older child has a serious liver condition and previously underwent a liver transplant. He now urgently needs ongoing follow-up care, regular testing, and medication that are not currently accessible to him.

The younger child has a metabolic condition involving dangerously high triglyceride levels and requires specialist testing and treatment that are unavailable locally.

Medical reports clearly show the need for continued care, monitoring, and medication for both children.

How the funds will be used

Funds raised will be used for:

• Medical assessments and specialist consultations

• Essential medications that are currently unavailable

• Medical tests and follow-up care

• Basic living and care expenses directly related to treatment

• Fees needed to complete medical referrals

My relationship with the family

I am not a relative. I am someone who has been assisting the children’s father with paperwork, referrals, and contacting medical providers on their behalf. Over time, I have come to care deeply about the children’s wellbeing and want to help give them a real chance to receive the care they need.

How funds will be sent

All funds raised will go directly to the children’s father so he can cover their medical and essential care costs. I will keep donors updated where possible so everything remains transparent.

Why your help matters

These are two young children who deserve the chance to grow up healthy. Their family is doing everything they can, but they cannot access the medical care their children urgently need without help.
