We all know Tali and Joe. Within the last 2 years, they have experienced some of the highest highs and lowest lows that anyone could imagine in a lifetime. This beautiful, goofy pair of lovebirds persevered while Tali underwent a double mastectomy and multiple followup surgeries in 2019 and even managed to throw a kickass wedding in the middle of it all! Since then, Tali recently shared that they have lost not 1, but 2 precious pregnancies, one of which was ectopic.
As a longtime doula, Tali has supported countless friends through their pregnancies and she and Joe have been looking forward to starting their own family more than anything. The heartbreak is extreme, to say the least. But there is some hope. With IVF, they have a shot at welcoming a new member to their family. It'll take a bunch of money, a bunch of science, and a heavy amount of pain and struggle and more perseverance as the hormone shots and egg harvesting and everything else will take months.
We can't help with most of the really hard parts, but we can show our support in a tangible way by helping make the money the least hard part of all of this.
Please join me in raising funds for Tali and Joe that will go toward their IVF price tag and related medical expenses. You may not know that IVF is deemed elective and therefore insurance doesn't cover it - not a cent! (Boo, hiss). Now that Tali's health is in the clear, they hope to begin soon which means them bills gotta get paid asap!
Tali did not ask me to do this fundraiser. As one of my oldest and dearest friends, I have watched her go through enough pain to last a thousand lifetimes. I will be forever grateful if you help give her more than I or we could ever give her alone.
