Help Takota Find Answers and Healing

My dear friend, Takota Melton, is just 16 years old and has been bravely battling a mysterious and debilitating illness since the end of May. He has been in and out of the hospital, life flighted, and is currently immobile, suffering from severe pain, and a rash that covers his whole body.

Despite being seen by numerous specialists- including Rheumatology, Immunology, and Infectious Disease- there are still no clear answers. His diagnosis is idiopathic, meaning the cause of his illness is unknown. He is on multiple medications, but unfortunately, nothing has brought him relief.

Takota has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, adding another layer of complexity to his condition. His mom Janie is doing everything she can do to get him the help he needs, but the financial burden of hospitalizations, treatments, and medications has become overwhelming.

We are raising funds to send Takota to a functional internal medicine doctor in Atlanta who may be able to help uncover the root of his illness and develop a more effective care plan. Your support will go directly toward his continued medical care, travel expenses for specialist visits, and any additional treatment that may finally bring him some relief.
