Gaucho Rocket Project is a project-oriented organization based at UC Santa Barbara. We are a student-run group dedicated to becoming the first North American Rocketry team to develop a liquid rocket capable of landing. We design the parts of the Rocket by hand through the brilliant minds of our members.

Our organizational goals have started to expand. While our primary aim is to build a liquid rocket with landing capabilities, we are equally committed to the educational impact of our project, going back to the community and educating K-12 students about STEM-related topics. We strive to develop the skills and marketability of our members, educate students and individuals about the aerospace industry, and bridge the gap between academia and industry.
