My best friend Amy had to have an emergency c-section last month to deliver her son Sylus. He was born with a heart defect and needed surgery. As  you can see in the picture his incision was left open to accommodate his lungs swelling and surgeons have successfully closed it. Amy has been off work since then and has qualified for an emergency leave of absence and payments but unfortunately it hasn’t come in. Sylus needs round the clock monitoring now at home until further notice because he is on oxygen and a feeding tube and until he is weaned off of them. His daddy is not working due to the COVID virus and his mommy is still healing from the c-section. His big sister is in school. They need all the help they can get.
