Hello! My name is Sydney Shugar, the 14-year-old daughter of Melissa Gavin and David Shugar. I wanted to make this my gift to my parents this Christmas, so I started this GoFundMe to raise money so that my family and I can buy a car. We have been struggling not having a car for almost a year now. Getting to and from places on time and in general is much harder now that we have to constantly rely on public transport. My mom has to walk to work alone at 11 at night, my dad is out of work, and I always have to rely on people to take me two hours to and from softball, to school, and to everywhere. My dad has also been under so much stress because of this and knowing that he doesn't have the money and can’t help, so his health is declining which hurts me to see. Any money at all towards this cause would help greatly and would mean the world to me and my family.
