Help Suzy and Kaiya Save Their Home

Donation protected
Hello everyone. We are Jana and Danielle and are friends of Suzy and her beautiful daughter Kaiya. Being a single mom and full time caregiver to a child with developmental disabilities is tough. Add to that losing your best friend and mother and its overwhelming.

The last few years of Linda's life were incredibly stressful as Suzy became the caretaker of them both. Not to mention, immediately after Linda's passing, Suzy almost died and was in ICU for 2 weeks and left so she could plan her mother's funeral.

If you knew Linda Stroup, count yourself lucky. She was the most selfless person on earth and gave her family and friends everything she had. Mama Linda worked as a PO for years and helped a countless number of people. She would sit there not in judgment, but with compassion and empathy for all. Mama Linda treasured her home. She loved her garden. She was a storyteller and as she grew older and her health began to decline she was unable to find the words to tell her stories and it was so difficult for her to endure. She left the world with nothing but love but found her finances to be draining away after working so many years waiting to retire.

Mama Linda helped care for Kaiya and they had the most special relationship. Suzy was left with the house and now the full time care of Kaiya alone. The burden of all of this has left Suzy in an impossible situation. She faces losing the house her mother loved so much and the home to her and Kaiya. I am asking you to please look into your hearts and memories and see if you can find a way to help this family. Suzy has tried to keep up with the bills and mortgage but has fallen behind and the house could go into foreclosure. She has filed a forbearance to try to delay the proceedings to give her time and catch up on the mortgage. She is in need of $5800 by January 1st to keep her home. If the forbearance is granted she would need $8200 by April 2025. The mortgage on the home is $800 and if we are able to raise the amount needed to save her home, any remaining balance would go towards the future mortgage payments.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and share it. Linda would be so incredibly proud of the amazing mother Suzy is. We all love and miss her so much. We are hoping and praying for her very own Christmas miracle. If you can’t donate, please share.
