Help grow and sustain the Base Health and Communit

Hi, my name is Caroline and I am a self confessed idealist and child and adolescent psychiatrist. I believe in people and community. I believe we need the latter more than ever. In 2020 we started the Base Health and Community. We are building a community to help lift the mental health in our community and provide space for people who offer valuable clinical and non clinical services. Over a challenging time with COVID we managed to establish a unique and ever more needed mental health service.

We got limited to no government COVID support as we could not prove income loss as we did not exist pre- COVID . I have worked extra jobs to keep the service afloat.

I hope that with GOfundme we can generate funds to raise us to the next level. We would love to invest in our cafe space for coffee machine and necessary plumbing to have a drop in information and gathering space and create more green for our courtyards.

We have endless ideas and projects but with time and money as biggest rate limiting steps, there is some stagnation and loss of opportunity to serve our community. We want to grow Newcastle into the most socially connected and supportive community to live and raise our kids in.
