Let's help Susan

It's 7:30 am on September 5th and I just spoke with Susan.
It was our first conversation so I asked how I could help.
I don't know Susan, but I know that I (we) can impact her life in a positive way.
Here's part of Susan's story:
“We evacuated on a tank of gas and $50 dollars. Now we have no money,”
“Right now I don’t even know how I’m going to go home, how I’m going to feed my kids.”
Susan wants to work. Her husband wants to work. They're trying, it's awfully hard at times.
A hand up....not a hand out -- is her immediate need, so please join me to help a family that needs some financial assistance right now.
Please read her story and give whatever you can. I am not affiliated with the Texas Tribune in any way, I read the article and decided to do something about it.
My goal is to provide Susan with enough money to get back on her feet, back home in Texas. Rent, food, gas money and hopefully some peace.

Here’s an update (9/7/2020). I received this text from Susan and I promised to share it. “maybe you can put in where you write about why the person needs help you could explain I take care of my cousin Angel who has very bad breast cancer I take care of my mom whom has lupus an is on hospice so I can't help nobody while I'm down like this an my heart hurts from it"
