Help survivors purchase Lakeland Girls Academy

Lakeland Girls Academy is for sale, after the hard work of its survivors to ensure it closed and children were no longer at risk of abuse or death within its walls. Due to its layout, the building easily could become another version of what it has been for over thirty years--a "school for troubled teens." Help us make sure that doesn't happen, and reclaim the building and land for good. The price tag is enormously daunting--$1.2 million--and we understand the massive undertaking it would be to purchase this property. But we have fought so hard for so long--we can't give up now.
