My name is Bryce Taylor and my girlfriend is Victoria Bowers. We found out that we were pregnant with twin girls in March. The pregnancy was going very smoothly until we found out that Victoria had a short cervix, which wasn’t a big problem at the time. She went to her high-risk doctor on July 31st and had to be admitted to the hospital immediately because our doctor thought that we could be having the babies that day. The good Lord was watching over her this day for sure. The doctor and nurses monitored her and the babies for 24 hours to see if she would be going into labor or not. Thankfully, she did not because the babies were only at 24 weeks and 6 days. They told her that she would have to be in the hospital until they were born. We spent two weeks in the hospital before she had our two beautiful baby girls. On August 15th, she started to have contractions, so they sent her back to labor and delivery to monitor her again. On August 16th, the contractions slowed down a little, but going into the afternoon, she started having them again. These contractions were far worse than the previous day. The doctors wanted to check and see if she was dilated, and she was dilated to a 3. The doctors told her the options of having them naturally or having a c-section. We talked about it and thought the safest way would be a c-section. Around 4 o'clock, they prepared her to go into surgery, and at 4:40 and 4:43, we were blessed with two beautiful baby girls, Emslee Belle and Hazel Elizabeth Taylor. Emslee weighed 2 lbs and 4 oz, being 14.5 inches long, and Hazel weighed 2 lbs and 8 oz, being 13.5 inches long. They are the most beautiful girls we’ve ever seen, and we are so in love with them. Victoria, after the surgery, is doing good but is still in pain. I’m so thankful and so blessed to be with an amazing woman who is so strong and brave for our baby girls. God has definitely been by us every step of the way. We thank Him every single day for everything He has done for us. We are driving every day to see our baby girls. It’s been a little bit of a struggle, but God always provides for us. We wanted to make this GoFundMe for a little bit of help, not only with gas but for some bills and groceries.
