Hi, my name is Connie, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my son Tyler, his wife Carmen, and their daughter Rose.

This is not easy for us to share. Due to Carmen’s current immigration status, she has been required to return to Mexico to continue her immigration process from there. Our family has worked closely with a lawyer and explored every possible option for her to remain in Canada, but unfortunately this is not possible at this time.

As difficult as this decision has been, we believe that having Rose go with her mom is the most stable and supportive choice for her during this transition. While this separation is temporary, it comes with significant emotional and financial strain for our family.

At the same time, Tyler is managing ongoing family-law matters involving his daughter Brooklyn, which has already placed added financial pressure on him. Balancing legal costs alongside unexpected travel expenses, passports, flights, and the basic costs of setting up temporarily in another country has made this an overwhelming time.

We are sharing this fundraiser to help cover essential expenses such as airfare, travel costs, and basic living needs while Carmen and Rose are in Mexico, and to help relieve some of the strain on Tyler as he supports his family from here.
