Trans Pride is back in Washington, DC!

I am excited to join with other trans and queer community members to launch Trans Pride Washington, DC this May. As so many of you know, Trans Pride in the DC area was created in 2007 by trans activist, community leader and trailblazer, SaVanna Wanzer. We are carrying on her work to bring forth a weekend of workshops, community building, networking and much more.

In 2023, we launched Trans Pride Washington, DC as an independent event! This means that we’re branching out to build an event that is not under our previous pride partner. So, we can use your help! We invite you to donate whatever you can to help us cover the costs associated with putting together a mini-conference.

We are hosting Trans Pride Washington, DC on May 17th, 2025 in Washington DC

This will be an opportunity for us to come together to network and get a preview of the day-long summit ahead.

On May 17th we’ll host an all-day summit that will include workshops, panel discussions, a resource fair and gathering space, along with food & refreshments.

This is a free event for our community and your generous donation will help with costs for printing materials, food & refreshments for attendees, language access services, and other overhead costs. From individual donors to community partnerships to program sponsors we look forward to coming together as a community this spring to celebrate, uplift and support our trans, non-binary and gender-expansive siblings.
