Help Tracy Hennen Heal: Support Her Recovery Journey
What started out as what Tracy thought was a simple case of the flu turned out to be something far more serious.
On Monday, June 2nd, Tracy began feeling ill and by Wednesday, June 4th, she was so sick she went to the doctor with dangerously low blood pressure, and she was sent to the hospital in Buffalo for what they believed was dehydration. But once she arrived, doctors quickly realized this was not the flu—Tracy was septic from an infection. She was immediately transferred to St. Cloud, where she underwent emergency surgery on Thursday, June 5th (her birthday). We were hopeful that removing the infection would begin her healing process, but sadly, her condition worsened. On Friday morning, she was moved to the ICU due to critically low blood pressure and the need for high levels of oxygen support.
Tracy is a fighter, and she’s doing everything she can to recover. Doctors are now waiting on culture results to determine the right antibiotic to combat the infection and stabilize her condition. She has a long road ahead and will be out of work for some time as she recovers.
We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden during this difficult time. If you’re able to contribute, we are incredibly grateful. And whether or not you’re in a position to donate, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts. Tracy needs all the love and strength we can send her way.
Thank you for standing with her.
