Help Support this Loving Family from Chile

For 25 years Ted and I have known this amazing family. I am struck by how they dedicate their lives to helping others, yet have many needs of their own that would be so easy for us to fill.
A couple of friends in the US suggested that I start a GoFundMe so that it would be easy for people to contribute, there is not a family in the world more deserving than they are!
They are building their house but because they are putting their daughter through school, they put their house on hold for 4 years to afford their daughter’s tuition. They live with several unfinished projects, including their bathroom, walls, and no area to do laundry or hang their clothes to dry. They also need a cupboard in the kitchen to store their dishes and their basement needs to finish being dug out!
In addition, their hot water heater broke a year ago. So now, when it’s super cold out, their neighbor whom they share their well with because they cannot afford their own, allows them to shower at their house.
If they could have a boost to be able to finish their own house and assist with their children’s educational and housing needs (mentioned below), which would take them many years too accomplish on their own, that would be incredible! I know how easy it would be to give them that amazing gift!
Here’s a little bit more about this wonderful family. We have also included a detailed list of their needs below for reference.
They moved from Chile to Bolivia to work as missionaries and worked there for 17 years! Sadly, they weren’t able to have children, so they adopted two Bolivian orphans.
Daniela, their older child, is 25 years old. She has autism and special needs. She works in a clothing store and has advanced to be a sales assistant and floor manager. Her employer values her because without fail, she arrives 15 minutes early to work and stays till closing and puts all the clothes in order before she leaves. Due to her special needs, she qualified for a new government program in which she can get an apartment free of charge, but she has to provide all of the work and supplies to get it ready, including mudding, painting, laying the flooring plus providing all the furnishings. She has faithfully saved her money since she began working, therefore she has been able to purchase a refrigerator, stove, living room shelves, and a washing machine. The family has been able to do the mudding and painting in half of the rooms. To help her out further, her parents gave her the microwave and loveseat from their own house.
Natalie, their younger child, is 22 years old. She has completed 4 years of a 6 year degree in civil/industrial engineering. Her grades have been the best in her class, therefore she just earned a scholarship so her final two years will be tuition free! She will still have to purchase books and supplies, but not having tuition will be a great help to her family! Her professors informed her that if she could become fully bilingual that it would increase her marketability tremendously, she will begin English classes in addition to her courses.
Natalie is also a very accomplished double base player (a stringed instrument larger than a cello), and she loves to play. Due to a jaw issue she is having, she requires braces and had to sell her double base for $600. She asked the man she sold it to to please inform her if he ever wanted to sell it because she hoped she would be in a position to buy it back at that time!
Moises, the father, continues to work as a head pastor of a church of 800 people and while the work is plentiful, the amount that they’re able to pay him is not nearly as plentiful!
Kely, the mother, works tirelessly helping others and will sacrifice anything gladly for her children. Kely’s elderly mother also lives with them and requires a lot of care. They are not able to leave her alone at the house so the family has to carefully coordinate to accomplish that.
For reference, here are the details of what the family currently needs with approximate costs:
Mioises and Kely:
$50 microwave since they gave theirs to their daughter
$300 cupboards for the kitchen since they were using their daughters shelves and she moved them out into her apartment, they’re currently storing some of their dishes on the floor
$200 weatherproof their roof as well as their outdoor storage bin
$150 hot water heater
$400 sofa/bed to replace the loveseat that they gave their daughter and to have a place for guests to stay with them
$200 for materials to finish their bathroom shower as well as the wall in the hallway
$350 for a sturdy lawnmower because they have built their house out in the country and have a half an acre of land to mow.
$1500 to rent the machines and laborers to dig their basement and the materials to put in the walls
$500 to lay the cement and materials for a laundry area outside behind the house
$400 to put in a new reinforced fence along the front of the property for protection
Total $4,000
Daniela:
$350 remaining flooring cost for her apartment
$100 remaining paint cost
$1000 remaining furniture/appliances/dishes/pots n pans, etc. for kitchen
$450 desk, bed and remaining living room furniture
Total: $2,000
Natalie:
$300 books and supplies for remaining 2 years of school
$250 remaining cost of braces
$600 cost of needed treatment for jaw which was the reason she needed braces
$100 driving school to get drivers license to help her mother with transportation responsibilities
$150 English course during school break
$600 cost to buy back Double base instrument
Total: $2,000
Grand total $8,000
If by a great miracle, more than $8,000 is given, their car is failing and is in the shop often and it would cost about $5,000 to trade in to get a reliable used car.
Again, any amount contributed to this amazing family would be extremely appreciated and would help a great deal to change their lives for the better.
Please feel free to pass the link on to anybody you would like or share it on any social media platform as well.
Thank you so much!!
