My cousin Dave started grade 6 in 2024 - he began experiencing frequent fevers and body pain after his graduation in mid-2024. At first, doctors suspected TB Meningitis due to symptoms like weakness on one side of his body and difficulty speaking and walking. After several hospital visits, tests, and weeks of uncertainty, he was eventually diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in October of 2024.
He began chemotherapy in November and now undergoes treatment 3 times a week. He's already been through a lot - MRIs, spinal taps, blood transfusions, and more. His bone marrow tests showed good signs, but his treatments will continue for 3 years as he's considered high-risk.
sadly, medical care in the Philippines is extremely expensive. From chemo sessions to lab work, medications, and follow-ups - it adds up fast. Though the the family is doing everything we can, the costs are overwhelming.
Any support - whether it's a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this would mean the world to us. It brings hope, strength, and real help to Dave's journey.
Thank you for standing with us. Godbless you exceedingly beyond measure!
