Baby Amelia is a beautiful 9 month old little girl who was admitted to the hospital late Wednesday February 20th due to the discovery of a large foreign mass found on her brain during a CT Scan. Amelia had an emergency drain put in early Thursday morning to relieve pressure off her brain. Shortly after she was taken to surgery after it was discovered during imaging that the mass had evolved and started causing further complications and damage. After over 5 hours of open brain surgery Amelia was in a hospital bed after the successful removal of the large mass. Over the course of the next few days Amelia faced agonizing complications and side effects from both the large tumor, massive swelling and the trauma of the surgery itself. Results came back that it is a very aggressive strain of cancer and they have not seen it in the area before. It is in her brain stem. Her parents are faced with something no parents should ever have to go through with their child. I am asking for all the prayers, and any donation of you can as the bills have piled up. Our family has faced so many obstacles, especially the last few months , however my cousin little baby Amelia and her parents do not deserve this pain.
