Help the Pennington Family Through Ross's Final Journey
Donation protected
Some of you may remember Ross Pennington from childhood. He was a DJ at the Plano YMCA dances and St. Mary's dances. He is the father of people we know and went to high school with: Keith Pennington (my husband), Tracey Pennington (Collette), Chris Pennington, and Wesley Pennington.
On Friday, March 7th, Ross was found unresponsive and was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
He had been diagnosed with double pneumonia, high sodium levels, and a severe, unidentified infection. Initially, there seemed to be a slight improvement, but then his condition took a sudden turn for the worse. He was transferred to ICU, where he was also diagnosed with heart failure. At this point, he is unable to speak, eat, or remember anything.
The doctor has indicated that there is little chance of survival at this stage. Ross has been intubated and is highly sedated for comfort.
His wife, Linda, passed away on March 27th, 2023. The family has made the difficult decision to remove Ross from life support, on March 27th, 2025, allowing him to pass peacefully and rejoin his beloved wife.
Tracey and her husband, Chris, have been caring for Ross for the past two years. Unfortunately, Ross is only partially covered by Medicare, and during these two years, he had been hospitalized numerous times. The medical expenses have been mounting at an alarming rate. Tracey and Chris have also used their own funds to remodel their home to accommodate Ross's long term living and care needs, prior to his hospitalization. In addition to the growing medical expenses, they have incurred therapy costs, transportation expenses, costs for his anticipated cremation services, the upcoming costs associated with the probate process of Ross's home and attorney fees.
Please consider donating to help the entire Pennington family cover some of these rapidly increasing costs. They could really use the help. Any amount is enough, and if you cannot donate financially, please share the link. Thank you in advance to anyone who kindly donates and/or shares ~ from the Pennington family.
