More than 1.89 million ship crew members face issues like piracy dangers, isolation, and stress every day in order to keep the global economy afloat. Many seafarers can spend upwards of nine months at sea, without shore leave or a connection to their loved ones. Depending on their working conditions, communication back home can be problematic due to a lack of access to Wi-Fi. Altogether, the result is a serious combination of mental and emotional health issues.

To help combat these problems and increase the welfare of this workforce, Hudson Shipping Lines is partnering with The Mission to Seafarers to raise funds and offer practical and emotional care to seafarers and their families.
