I spent 3 weeks working at the Maria Rosa Mystica Orphanage and elderly home in Katwe, Uganda. During this time I grew to love 18 beautiful and inspirational souls.

Covid has caused great suffering worldwide and MRM Orphanage has been no exception. Their supplies and financial reserves have dwindled dramatically since 2019; they need resources. I want to share a list of their most pressing needs.

1. Menstrual products

2. Medications for AIDs, high blood pressure, and typhoid

3. Money for school fees (the orphanage currently cannot afford to send all the children to school)

4. Money for food

5. Clothes and shoes
