Support the Loss of Wild Chosen Parker

*WARNING- INFANT LOSS*

It is with broken hearts that the Hunt/Parker families grieve the loss of baby boy Wild Chosen Parker. On Friday February 10th 2023, at 4:29am, Wild, weighing 4lbs10oz, was delivered stillborn.

On the evening of Wednesday February 8th, after a healthy 8 and a 1/2 months of pregnancy, parents Aimee and Mike realized they had not felt their baby move that day. They contacted their midwife, and after several attempts, and to their disbelief, were told there was no heartbeat. In the days to follow they underwent ultrasounds, and induction, followed by an intense and painful labour, to deliver their baby boy. They were told that Wild’s umbilical cord likely kinked at his belly button, causing the blood supply to their sweet baby to be cut off. Following his birth on Friday February 10th, Wild was surrounded by his family and friends, that were given a chance to meet, hold and love him.

Wild’s loss is felt deeply by his parents Aimee and Mike; his brother Kane, and sisters AJ and Rosie; his great grandparents Nana (Gay) and Omie (Nelly), his grandparents Nona (Karen) and Popa (Terry), Oma (Ingrid) and Grandpa (Dale), his uncles Ryan, Brandt and Chris; his aunt Ashley, his cousins Charlotte, Ivy, Miller, Marlowe, Bodhi and Paetyn; and many many close family friends.

For those that have been asking how to help, and are willing and able, we ask for your support.
Aimee is a passionate and charismatic yoga teacher, offering classes at Union108, the Township of McNab/Braeside as well as privately. She had planned to teach up until Wild’s birth and resume shortly thereafter. She has had to cancel all classes indefinitely, as she grieves the devastating loss of their baby boy and following the recommendation of her midwife, allows her body to recover.
Mike is a hardworking, focused General Foreman at Seguin Morris Mechanical. He has had to take unexpected time off to grieve their family’s loss.
The Pilon Family Funeral Home have graciously offered to cremate Wild. A small private Memorial will be held at the family’s property in the Spring. Wild’s ashes will be buried at the base of a tree planted in his honour, where family and friends will be able to visit, and watch as it grows Wild and Free.

Any funds raised will be used towards:
• Lost Wages for both Aimee & Mike
• Memorial Costs (Urn, Tree, Tree transport, Tree planting, Headstone/or Marker)
• Other Financial needs not covered (Bereavement Counseling, Groceries/Food, etc.)

Aimee, Mike, Kane and the entire extended family sincerely thank you for your kind words, thoughts and support during this difficult time.
