Dear friends and community,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friends, the Lloyd family, who are stepping into an incredibly challenging season.

Chad’s mother was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. Due to the severity and progression of the illness, she will be moving from Florida to Seattle in the coming weeks to live with the Lloyds so she can receive the care and support she needs from her family.

To make this possible, the Lloyds are preparing their home to accommodate Chad’s mom. A critical and urgent need is the addition of a second bathroom. With only one bathroom currently, it’s simply not possible to meet the needs of both Chad’s mom and the family without a renovation. The costs of this home construction project—combined with the cross-country move and the setup required to create a safe and comfortable space—are significant.

We are asking for your support in helping ease the financial burden this journey brings. Whether it’s $5, $50, or whatever you’re able to give, every single donation makes a difference and is deeply appreciated.
