Help support the LGBT community on Christmas Day
Birmingham LGBT recognises that Christmas can be a very difficult time for many LGBT people. It is traditionally a very heteronormative, family-focused event and many LGBT people are estranged from their birth families.
In order to prevent members of the community from having to spend Christmas day alone, we are once again intending to hold a party on Christmas Day between 2pm and 7pm at Birmingham LGBT Centre.
In order to be able to do this we need your help and support because the event is not funded: we are seeking donations to cover the cost of food, Christmas presents and transport.
Please donate so people don’t have to spend Christmas Day alone.
