Help Support the Hulan Family During This Difficult Time

During the last week of August 2025, Chad Hulan and his wife traveled to Hartwell, Georgia for what was meant to be a joyful family vacation. While there, Chad took their boat out on the lake alone. Tragically, shortly after his departure, local law enforcement contacted the family to report that the boat had been found circling, without Chad onboard.

We are incredibly grateful for the tireless efforts of South Carolina law enforcement, emergency responders, the countless dive teams, and volunteers who have worked around the clock in the search for Chad. Despite their extensive search and rescue operations, Chad has not yet been found. The situation has now shifted to a recovery mission, and the Hulan family has brought in a private search and recovery expert Keith Cormican to continue the effort with specialized resources and expertise. Keith, having lost his brother in a similar accident many years ago has created an organization (Bruce’s Legacy - https://www.facebook.com/bruceslegacy) to help others in need when their loved ones are difficult to locate. His organization runs on donations and Keith tirelessly donates his time, extensive knowledge, and equipment to help return the missing to their families.

Many friends, loved ones, and kind strangers have reached out asking how they can help.
