Dear Members of Our Community,

The Boonton Township PBA #392 is asking for your support for one of our own, Debra Forsythe, who tragically suffered a devastating fire at her home on August 19, 2026.

Debra has called Boonton Township home for decades and has always been someone willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Many families in our community know Debra from her years working at Rockaway Valley School, her involvement and volunteer work at town events, or as the wife of her late husband, James Forsythe, who proudly served as a police officer in Boonton Township.

While homeowners insurance will help Debra as she works to recover from this devastating loss, there are immediate needs that cannot wait. Clothing, food, temporary housing, and other essential expenses will all require immediate attention. Funds raised through this effort will go directly toward helping Debra meet those needs and provide some stability during an incredibly difficult time.

As a community, this is an opportunity for us to come together and support someone who has spent so many years supporting others.
