Hi, my name is Zaide Wilson and along with 12 other students, we have been lucky enough to be selected for an incredible opportunity for a 7 day Immersion Program in Flores, one of the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia.

This program is part of a long-standing partnership with Mandurah Catholic College, which has been providing aid to the villagers of Flores.

Through this collaboration, essential funds have been raised to support the development of education, healthcare and water projects on the island.

During this program, we'll immerse ourselves in the rich cultural and religious traditions of the local people. We will work closely with local families and partners to make a sustainable impact on education and healthcare facilities in the community.

To be part of this meaningful experience, I am required to raise $650. MCC will work with Flores Village Partners (non-profit organisation) who support the Flores education, health, water and sanitation programs, to decide how best to allocate the funds.

To reach this goal, I've decided that once I raise the full amount, I will run 6.5 kilometres.
