Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to The Canyon School Inc. Being a small nonprofit the Pandemic hit us hard. We were forced to close our doors for over 3 years. Because we rely on tuition to cover our operating costs each month, we have not been able to earn the funds needed to update the school and reopen our doors to this day. We’re turning to our community to help us as you have in the past.  The Canyon School has been educating children ages 2-5 for over 70 years. As mentioned before we are a nonprofit cooperative that has close ties to our Los Angeles community. All parents must come together every year to help make our school a success. Our diversity both culturally and socioeconomically makes our school a true representation of our community.  Focusing on social and emotional growth, Canyon School provides a place where children can learn through play and exploration of their environment. Whether making art and playing in our generous outdoor space or singing songs and sharing stories in our warm and welcoming classroom, children are free to have fun as they grow mentally and physically. In our cooperative preschool, parents work with the teachers and the community to create a rich and diverse learning environment.  We are looking forward to the day we can welcome our students back to school.
