For those unfamiliar with our story, in 2001, we tragically lost our beautiful twin daughter, Lizzie, at just 15 months old. During that incredibly difficult time, the compassionate support of Temple Street’s social workers provided immense comfort to our family. In Lizzie’s memory, and with the amazing help of our friends and colleagues at Sherry Fitz, we began a toy appeal to support disadvantaged families connected to the hospital. Over the years, this initiative has grown into a cherished tradition, bringing light and comfort to families over Christmas.

For over two decades, our annual initiative has provided vital support to disadvantaged families with children receiving care at Temple Street Children's Hospital. This effort has brightened Christmas for countless families navigating difficult times, thanks to your remarkable generosity.

Last year, we raised an incredible €12,370, and with your help, we hope to aim high again this year.

This Year’s Focus:

We are once again collecting gift cards, which allow Temple Street’s social workers the flexibility to support families in the best possible ways, whether distributing in person or posting to those outside Dublin. Gift cards from shops like Smyths, Toymaster, Penney’s, always go down a treat.

Beyond toys, many parents endure severe financial stress while caring for a sick child. To help ease this burden, Sherry FitzGerald will be providing Tesco food gift cards to 50 families across Ireland, ensuring they have Christmas dinner and a little relief over the holiday period.
