Hello everyone, my name is Alexandra. I have been given the amazing opportunity to work with a unit of 7 teenage girls for the next 15 weeks at a non-profit organization that cares for children who have been taken away from their families because of abuse or neglect. Part of my role will involve visiting weekly with a fun activity for the girls (based off of their own or group interests) or to teach a life skill to them such as cooking simple meals.

My hope is to bring extra weekly joy into the organization for them and be a constant amongst unbelievable change. These girls deserve everything and I am asking for donations to cover the cost of quality materials/supplies for our projects and activities. All of the money raised will be used for their activities and any remaining will be used for gift cards for them.

The donations will mean being able to bring in projects I may not otherwise be able to afford for them and it would truly mean a lot. It will make a difference in the quality of the activities brought in, and also the materials used. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting these girls <3
