Help support Team Bradnam
Donation protected
As many of you are starting to hear, our beautiful little Jack is currently down in Sydney in the Intensive Care Unit at Randwick Children’s Hospital fighting to recover from Kawasaki Disease and Sepsis. The events of the past week have been not only unexpected but very traumatic for Jamie, Melissa and their family. They are now looking at being in Sydney for at least a month while Jack receives the best treatment and recovers. Melissa and Jamie have Tommy down in Sydney near them, but are facing the challenges associated of being away from home and away from their support networks there. They are staying in an Airbnb near the hospital in an attempt to create as much of a ‘home away from home’ for Tommy.
Melissa and Jamie have been overwhelmed by friends and family sending their wishes and offers for help. Many have been reaching out asking if they can contribute to the costs associated from living away from home to support the Bradnam’s during this difficult time. This page has been set up as a platform to allow these offers to go directly towards the Bradnam’s expenses including accommodation, food etc at this stage. Jack is by no means out of the woods just yet and the extent of his recovery is still unknown. But it can be expected that the Bradnam’s are going to be in Sydney for at least a month and Jack still has a long road ahead of him for recovery. He is a fighter though! Jamie and Melissa have also expressed how grateful they are for blood donors and encourage anyone who is able to donate blood to please do so.
A page has been set up on Facebook ‘Jack’s Journey’ for friends and family to follow the progress of Jack’s recovery from Kawasaki Disease where Melissa and Jamie are providing updates in a central location.
This GoFundMe was set up and is administered by Shannon Berry (Melissa’s sister), and all funds donated go directly to Jamie and Melissa Bradnam.
