Sutton Community Project is run by a group of volunteers dedicated to reduce food waste, support the vulnerable in our local community for a better future for all.
We are open every Tuesday from 2-6pm and welcome around 70 local families who collect food boxes as well as enjoy having and chat in our café, or even a free haircut with our friendly welcoming volunteers.
Since the launch in July 2021, we've been seeing people coming together with a community spirit, looking after each other, picking up a box for someone else isolating ,or an elderly or vulnerable neighbour and helping each other out.
Some who were once being helped by others have become helpers at the centre serving regularly and enjoy being a part of this community.
All 100 % of donations goes into the community boxes ,buying fresh fruit, veg and essentials.
We rely on the generous one-off and regular/monthly donations from our valued supporters.
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will support people struggling, putting food on the table, help with well being and a making better environment fighting food waste. Thank you!
