We are asking for your help during an incredibly difficult time. On July 19th my husband Miguel Mendez and his brother were both detained by ICE at the Burlington parking lot in Marysville. All he wanted to do that day is buy his brother a nice outfit to attend my grandma’s funeral service the next day. In one quick second our lifes changed and he was getting detained by Ice. Leaving his four babys behind, Gonzalo who is 10yrs old, Evelyn 9, Jailyn 6 and Angel the baby of the house who we had just celebrated his 2nd birthday 2 days prior to his arrest. He is honest, hard working, always helping others without anything in return, and a loving dad & husband. Miguel is currently being detained by ICE at the Tacoma facility. I’m a stay at home mom and asking for help to raise funds to help cover:

- Immigration attorney fees

- Legal expenses

- Bond or related costs,

and essential family expenses like rent, Food and bills while we work toward bringing my husband home.

This has been an overwhelming and heart broken experience for our entire family. Those who new Miguel still can’t process he’s not home but I have faith he will return home soon to his friends and family soon.
