Meet my friend, Sandy. We've known each other for about 30 years now…going all the way back to working together at a PT job while we were in High School. Lisa and Sandy have been friends since kindergarten…and through all the ups and downs in life, we’re all still friends!

Recently, Sandy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She's already gone through one surgery to remove the tumor, but still has a way to go to beat this. There are still some unknowns ahead, but this GoFundMe page is being set up to try to relieve one of those unknowns... her finances.

While the surgery to remove the cancer was a success, Sandy missed work. She was out during the surgery and recovery time. She didn't receive pay for a few weeks and, in addition, is now facing some unexpected medical bills. There's also another potential surgery on the horizon... so helping her cover her rent, groceries, and other misc bills while she is out would be a great blessing to her.
