Tanya has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. For those of us fortunate enough to know her, Tanya has always been a constant source of joy, laughter, and love. She has a unique ability to bring people together, making every moment brighter. As the sunshine in so many lives, Tanya has touched hearts with her kindness, never asking for anything in return. Now, she’s facing the most challenging battle of her life.

In January 2023, Tanya moved to Hobart from Lennox Head, leaving behind the close-knit group of friends who adore her. In June 2024, she received the devastating news of her diagnosis. Facing this battle without her friends nearby makes her fight even more heartbreaking for those who love her.

Due to her illness, Tanya can no longer work or drive, relying on Uber rides or her son to get to treatments and appointments. As she fights this battle, it's our turn to rally around her. Tanya has given so much to everyone in her life, and now it’s time for us to give back.
