It’s not often that I reach out to ask for support for individuals, but in this case I feel truly compelled.

I’d like to share the story of Mo, a tireless, passionate man who has dedicated himself to building a safe, educational, and much-needed football community in North London. Day in and day out, Mo works with young people, giving them not just training, but belief in their aspirations to one day become the football stars of the future.

Unlike many in this industry, Mo doesn’t do this for money. In fact, he has to supplement his income by working long hours as a taxi driver, simply to make ends meet. The small fees he charges for kits, training, and match days barely cover costs, but that hasn’t stopped him from creating a wonderful environment where kids can thrive, learn, and belong.

Sadly, last week Mo suffered a serious injury during training, rupturing both of his patellar tendons in a freak accident. He now faces surgery and months of recovery, unable to work and unable to provide for his family in the way he normally would.

I’m reaching out to football fans, supporters of community projects like Multi Ballers, and anyone who believes in helping those who give so much of themselves with so little financial reward.

Any contribution — no matter the size — would mean the world to Mo and his family at this difficult time.
