Hi, my name is Megan, and I’m reaching out today to share a story about an incredible young soul who needs our help. On the 31st of May 2024, the Lawrence family received heartbreaking news that no parent ever wants to hear — their little tacker, four-year-old son, Thomas, had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). As a mother myself, there’s nothing more heartbreaking than seeing a child go through such a challenging battle. Thomas has already begun treatment and, while the outlook is positive, the road ahead will be long and incredibly tough — a journey spanning years. The Lawrence family, a family of five has been shaken to the core. Mum, Morgan, has had to drastically minimise her hours from her teaching career to care for Thomas, while also supporting their two other children. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll is immense. That’s where we, as a community, can step in. We're rallying together to raise funds that will help ease the financial burden — from medical costs to day-to-day living expenses — so that Morgan and Rod can focus on what truly matters: supporting Thomas through this fight and holding their family together.
