our sweet baby Ocean was born premature at 31 weeks, she was taken to children’s a few hours from where we live. she started tube feeds and was doing well until two days ago, they found signs of NEC in her belly. she started antibiotics but sadly her stomach got a rupture last night, they found necrotic tissue and she was taken in for emergency surgery. she also has septo-optic dysplasia, they saw this abnormality in some later ultrasounds so we are praying for her brain functionality as well. we have another sweet 3 year old back home with family. with all the driving back and forth, eating, and bills it’s starting to get financially scary too. we appreciate any help, prayers, & kind words, truly helping us through this nightmare.
